Plain-English policy: what we collect on calls, how it's used, and how to reach us.
Last updated: September 2026
Bullpen Works answers phones and books jobs for trades companies. This page covers what we collect when we do that, how it's used, and how to reach us with questions or a deletion request.
What we collect
When our assistant answers a call for one of our clients, we collect what's needed to book the job: the caller's name, phone number, service address, and a description of the issue. Every call is recorded, and we keep a transcript alongside the recording so the details of the job are on record, not just in someone's memory. For clients who connect Jobber, we also receive the account data they authorize through Jobber's own OAuth screen — client records, job schedules, and whatever fields are needed to create and update jobs on their calendar.
How we use it
Call details go straight into booking the job on our client's calendar — that's the whole point, so the job lands on the schedule instead of sitting in a voicemail box while a competitor picks up the phone. We also use recordings and transcripts to review call quality and tune the assistant's scripts so it keeps sounding right and asking the right questions. We never sell this data, never use it for advertising, and never share it with anyone beyond the client whose phone line took the call.
Call recording
Every call the assistant answers is recorded, and every one of those calls opens with a disclosure that it's being recorded — no caller is recorded without being told first, at the start of the call. Recordings and their transcripts are stored so a client can review exactly what was said, confirm the job details came through correctly, and catch anything that needs a human follow-up.
Jobber data
Access to a client's Jobber account only ever happens after they connect it themselves through Jobber's own authorization screen — we never ask for or hold Jobber credentials directly. The OAuth tokens that let us act on a client's behalf are encrypted at rest, and we only use them for the booking actions the client authorized: creating jobs, checking schedules, and keeping the two systems in sync. If a client disconnects the Bullpen app from their Jobber account, that access is revoked immediately, and nothing more is read from or written to their Jobber account after that.
Website analytics
This website, bullpenworks.com, uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages people read and which buttons they use. It records page views and a handful of interactions: clicks on our phone number, the walkthrough and email links, and the pricing buttons; opening an FAQ answer; and use of the ROI calculator. We use that to make the site clearer, and for nothing else. We do not run advertising pixels or retargeting tags on the site, and we do not sell or share website visitor data. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms. If you would rather not be counted, Google's opt-out browser add-on or your browser's cookie controls both work. Nothing said on a phone call is ever sent to it.
Retention & deletion
We keep call recordings and transcripts for as long as a client's account is active, so they can look back at any past call to confirm what was said or settle a dispute. If a client closes their account, or if a caller wants their own recording or transcript deleted, email hello@bullpenworks.com and we'll remove it.
